BPO Film Music Concerts in Birmingham

After a fantastic sell out concert in Shrewsbury on Sunday, the BPO returns to its home at the University of Birmingham to perform two exciting film music concerts at the Elgar Concert Hall in the Bramall Music building.

Our family friendly Movie Matinée concert starts at 3pm on Sunday 10th February and will last for approximately one hour.  From 2pm, there will be drawing and craft making activities on both levels of the Bramall lobby areas for the younger members of our audience to enjoy so please do arrive early – these craft activities will also be available after the concert.

We want our Movie Matinée to be as fun as possible, so we’d love to see members of our audience dressing up in your favourite film character’s costume – don’t be shy….there may even be a few people dressing up on the stage too!

There will be a colouring and quiz sheet available for the younger members of the audience to fill out during and after the concert, and there will be opportunities for audience participation (please bring your clapping hands!).

Here is the programme for our matinée concert (if you feel like singing along to your favourite songs during the concert, we won’t mind….)
