BPO Wind in Bromsgrove

On Friday 3rd December, Bromsgrove Concerts will be hosting the Birmingham Philharmonic Wind Ensemble in a programme of music from Czechoslovakia, Romania and Austria. Led by Alastair Moseley who is well known to classical music fans in Bromsgrove, the ensemble features 13 musicians who are all members of the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra. They will be playing three great works – Dvorak’s sublime Serenade for Winds; Mozart’s Serenade in C Minor for wind octet; and the less well known but stunning ‘Dixtour’ by Georges Enescu.

The concert takes place in the wonderful Routh Hall, Bromsgrove School and starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £22, and children and anyone under the age of 25 are admitted free of charge. Alternatively, if you would rather watch the concert live from the comfort of your own home, it will be live streamed and tickets for this cost £8. To book tickets, visit the Bromsgrove School box office or call 01527 579679 ext 616.

Bromsgrove Concerts is really pleased to be back in action after our 18 month shut down due to the Pandemic and are looking forward to entertaining the classical music lovers of Bromsgrove once more!
