Outside of BPO, what is your occupation?
I am a PhD student at Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies, Aston University, UK. My research focuses on Raman amplification for ultrawideband optical networks.
How long have you been a member of BPO?
I joined BPO in September 2023.
What inspired you to take up your instrument?
I took up the violin because its beautiful sound and expressive capabilities fascinated me.
Most treasured occasion with the BPO?
The most treasured occasion with the orchestra was the 80th-anniversary concert at Birmingham Town Hall, which took place in October 2023 and marked my first performance with BPO.
