At our recent concert in Shrewsbury, John Franklin, Chair of the BPO was delighted to meet up again with Penny Crompton (nee Morse), as they had both been young members of the BPO flute section in the 1960s, but not seen each other since.
Penny also provided us with a short account of her memories of the BPO, together with some photographs of a few concerts she had played in, which are now on our digital archives pages (see 1963). Thanks Penny, and we hope to see you at more concerts in the future!
