The BPO 2016-2017 Concert Season Brochure is now available, featuring continuing events to celebrate the orchestra’s 75th anniversary. Details are also on the updated Concerts page. Highlights include Bartok’s Concerto for Orchestra, Mahler’s 4th Symphony and Bruckner’s 8th Symphony. Soprano Alison Roddy joins us for Canteloube’s haunting Songs of the Auvergne in October, and again for Mahler in March. As well as our regular home in the Elgar Concert Hall at the University of Birmingham, we will be making repeat visits to Northampton, Shrewsbury, Sudbury, Cleobury Mortimer and Leominster.
